Who is HavenGuard for?

Nigerians living abroad who own houses, flats or land in Nigeria, and the property managers, inspectors and relatives who look after those properties for them.

Do I still need someone on the ground in Nigeria?

Usually, yes. A manager, caretaker or relative still does the physical work. HavenGuard gives you the records, photos and approvals so you can see what they did and decide with evidence instead of relying on phone calls. In Lagos you can also book a vetted HavenGuard inspector.

How do I know an inspection really happened?

The inspector takes photos in the HavenGuard app. Each one is stamped with the time and the GPS location where it was taken, and photos picked from a gallery instead of taken live are clearly marked. Once the report is sent it can’t be edited; you accept it or ask for another visit.

Who can see my documents and money records?

Only you and the people you invite, and only for the properties and the things you allow. A relative can review reports without seeing your money; an accountant-style helper can see the money without the documents.

Does HavenGuard collect rent or pay contractors?

No. HavenGuard doesn’t hold or move your money. You record payments and receipts so every naira is traceable, and the money moves through your bank as usual. Subscriptions and booked inspections are paid securely on Paystack.

Can I see totals in pounds or dollars?

Yes. Records keep their original currency (naira, pounds, dollars, euros or Canadian dollars) with the exchange rate used, and you choose which currency your totals are shown in.

Is there a mobile app?

HavenGuard works in your phone’s browser and can be added to your home screen like an app: on Android tap Install, on iPhone tap Share then Add to Home Screen. It works on laptops too.

How much does it cost?

HavenGuard is free during early access. Paid plans are coming: Owner at ₦8,000 a month and Portfolio at ₦25,000 a month. The Free plan, with one property, stays free.

Where is my data kept?

On Google Cloud, in a private database where each household’s records are walled off from everyone else’s at the database level. Photos and documents sit in private storage and are only shown to people with access.
