Your records stay yours
Title documents, rent and photos of your home are sensitive. Here’s how HavenGuard keeps them private.
Walled off at the database
Each household’s records are separated by the database itself, not only by the app, so a mistake in one screen can’t show you someone else’s property.
Least access by default
People you invite see only the properties and the things you allow. Remove someone and their access ends straight away.
Private files
Photos and documents are kept in private storage and only shown to signed-in people with access. There are no public links to share by mistake.
Evidence that can’t be changed
Sent inspection reports, their photos and repair completions can’t be edited afterwards. A new visit adds a new report and keeps the old one.
A full log
Sign-ins, invitations, approvals and changes are written to a log that is chained so it can’t be quietly altered.
No money held
HavenGuard never holds rent or pays contractors. Subscriptions and booked inspections are paid on Paystack; we never see your card details.
The details
- HavenGuard runs on Google Cloud. Connections are encrypted (HTTPS only, with HSTS).
- Passwords are stored as one-way hashes (Argon2); we can’t read them. Sign-in sessions use secure, HTTP-only cookies and repeated wrong passwords lock the account for a while.
- You agree to product emails separately from your account, and you can stop them at any time.
- Read the privacy policy and terms. Questions: hello@havenguardhq.com.
